Reading-Berks Intergroup service committees help carry the A.A. message and unite the community inside and outside of A.A. You do not need to be an intergroup representative for your homegroup to get involved. Joining a committee is a great way to be of service at a larger level.
Hotline
Reading-Berks Intergroup operates a 24/7 Hotline. AA members with some accumulated sobriety are always needed to take calls from individuals who reach out for assistance.
CPC/PI or Cooperation with the Professional Community and Public Information Committee works with professionals in the community who may come in to contact with those who have a problem with alcohol.
We are NOT a glum lot! The Unity Committee is involved with planning sober events and activities like workshops, picnics or the Alcathon, etc. for A.A. members to attend and participate in.
